The desiccant breather replaces the standard dust cap or OEM breather cap on equipment, offering better filtration to protect against even the smallest particulates that destroy the effectiveness of your machinery, and cause downtime and costly repairs. As air is drawn into equipment through the breather, the layered desiccant filter elements remove particulate while the desiccant beads strip harmful moisture. While in service or during shut-down, the desiccant beads attract moisture from inside the equipment reservoir, actively drying the equipment.

Extended Series Desiccant Breathers
Extended Series® desiccant breathers combine the trusted materials and design of our Standard breathers with the check-valves of our VentGuard™ and HydroGuard® breathers, plus a new oil mist reducing feature, higher air flows and more than double the desiccant! These high airflow, long-lasting desiccant breathers are ideal for tank farms and large or remote applications.
Connected Breathers
This is the most accurate breather when it comes to moisture entry. The industry’s first breather with patented IsoLogic® Sensor Technology for connection to the mains. Eliminates the subjective judgment when it comes to color change of the media, whether it is saturated or not. Accurate display of the “health” of the breather eliminates the need to replace the breather too early or too late. Time savings on scheduled lube routes; data collection from multiple breathers is possible at the same time. Risk reduction for locations where breather status is difficult to detect. Status of all breathers can be viewed and trended via the internet from any location.
Rebuildable Steel Breathers
Rebuildable Steel (RS) breathers were designed specifically for applications, such as bulk storage tanks or large circulating lube oil systems, where there are very high temperatures, extremely polluted air, or a corrosive environment. They are ruggedly designed, with housings of powder-coated carbon steel or stainless steel. The hygroscopic agent (desiccant) is enclosed in a bag of polypropylene filter material. This desiccant bag filter is easily installed when it is time to replace or recharge the unit. The 1-micron pleated filter has a large surface area, resulting in long service life. Like the bag filter, it is easily replaced without removing the breather from service. Rebuildable Steel breathers accommodate large air flow rates with minimal pressure drops.
